This page is for members who want to make a direct charitable contribution to Be Well Church Ministry because they believe in the work and want to support it. There are no tokens attached to this donation, no points, no badge. It does not change your membership level or unlock any feature. It is simply a gift to the ministry from a member who wants to give one.
Contributions made here go directly to the operational capacity of the ministry: research, education, legal framework maintenance, community infrastructure, and the sustained delivery of the Be Wellness Ecosystem to its members.
Generosity that asks for nothing in return is the highest expression of stewardship. We receive it with gratitude and hold it faithfully.
Donations to Be Well Church Ministry support the following areas of ministry operation.
Legal framework and compliance. Maintaining the PMA structure, 508(c)(1)(a) status, RFRA documentation, and legal counsel that protects every member's right to practice.
Research and citizen science. Development and operation of the community observational study programme, validated instrument administration, and institutional partnership pursuit.
Community platform and infrastructure. Hosting, development, and maintenance of the Be Wellness Ecosystem platform and member experience.
Education and content. Production of the Knowledge Library, Adaptive Revolution publications, integration guides, and member resources.
Sacrament access for members in need. A discretionary fund that allows the ministry to extend sacrament access to members for whom cost is a genuine barrier, at the ministry's discretion.
Advocacy. Supporting the legal and policy environment that protects entheogenic religious practice, harm reduction, and informed adult sovereignty.
Contributions are processed securely. Be Well Church Ministry is a 508(c)(1)(a) religious organization. Consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility.
The following describes the legal character of donations made to Be Well Church Ministry. This is reference information, not legal or tax advice. Consult a qualified advisor for your individual situation.
Be Well Church Ministry operates under IRC 508(c)(1)(a) as a self-executing tax-exempt church. No 501(c)(3) application or IRS approval is required. The exemption is automatic upon meeting the statutory definition of a church, which Be Well Church Ministry meets.
A voluntary charitable contribution to a religious organization. Not a purchase of goods or services. Not a token acquisition. Not a membership fee. The donor receives no goods, services, or privileges in exchange. The contribution supports the ministry's operational mission.
Contributions to 508(c)(1)(a) churches may be deductible as charitable contributions under IRC 170. Deductibility depends on the donor's individual tax situation. Be Well Church Ministry does not provide tax advice. Donors should consult a qualified tax advisor to determine whether their contribution is deductible and under what conditions.
Donors who request anonymity will have their contribution recorded only in the ministry's internal accounting records as required by standard nonprofit financial practice. No public acknowledgment will be made and the contribution will not be associated with the member's profile or participation record.
This donation page is explicitly separate from the Token acquisition pathway in the Apothecary. Donations made here do not generate tokens, points, or any other member benefit. If you wish to acquire tokens for Apothecary use, that pathway is available separately through the Rewards section.
A written acknowledgment of your contribution will be provided by email following receipt of your donation. This acknowledgment will confirm the amount, the date, and that no goods or services were received in exchange — the language required by the IRS for charitable contribution substantiation.
The ministry exercises sole discretion over the allocation of donated funds in furtherance of its religious and educational mission. Donors may indicate a preference for how their contribution is used, which the ministry will honor where practicable, but donor designation does not create a legal obligation to restrict funds to a specified purpose.
Tokens are acquired through a separate process in the Apothecary — a direct contribution of $1 per token that grants purchasing power in the store. That pathway exists for members who want to support the ministry and receive sacraments in return.
This page is for members who want to give without receiving anything back. It is a different act. The ministry recognizes the distinction and holds both with equal respect.
